The news hits Pip the hardest and he is left wondering what he could have done differently and if his mother knows yet.

Pip and Spyder's mom discuss whether or not they will entertain a meeting with Hecubum and the Websters after Belle's health take a turn for the worse. Eager to get her son back to a normal routine, Pip's mom insisted it is not necessary, while Spyder's mom believes the boys are old enough to be involved.
